After passing through the village of Gusgarf, we reach the trail that leads us up to the waterfall..
View from the trail, or rather from the ascent back.
Climbing up, a view of a small plateau opens.
A comfortable path runs along this plateau.
Here, the passage along this plateau ends, we cross the river, here along the river, such as summer cottages from the village.
Here is a photo from the other side of the river and in the center you can see this plateau along which we walked.
From this point you can clearly see the gorge in which the famous 30-meter waterfall in Gusgarf is located, that is, the Big Gusgarf waterfall or the Pionersky waterfall, it will be the goal of my next trip and, accordingly, the next blog post.
We follow to this gorge, in which there is the Eagle's Nests waterfall of interest to us today.
The waterfall can be approached from two sides, from above or from below, and these two paths begin at this point, if to the upper part, then here you have to climb the slope, if to the lower, then go further along the river. My companions decided to go along the top, respectively, I am with them. The photo shows the beginning of the rise.
On the rise, you need to bypass buildings with fenced areas, a top view of these buildings and areas.
Behind them you can see the plateau along which we came to this rise.
The same with the rising height.
Following the route of movement and if you look to the right, the saddle of the Pionersky pass is clearly visible, and in terms of height we are just at its level.
Well, here are two more photos with a view of the plateau where we came from, the view is painfully beautiful :)
Finally, the ascent ended, and the trail continues along the slope.
It looks, of course, creepy, but it is quite passable, a strip of greenery along the bottom of the gorge hides a river.
The view back, all one is impressive, even from where you look.
And the Pionersky pass is better seen from here.
Further, the view back changes, the plateau covers the ridge that we have already passed, but the view into the distance becomes better.
Well, here you can clearly see the path, along which we almost come to the Eagles Nests waterfall.
Here is the Eagle's Nests waterfall, the first shot is straight from the trail.
When I approached the waterfall, I suddenly realized that going along the top was a mistake, because there is not much to look at from above and there is no way to go down, directly near the waterfall.
If you look back, then in one section you can see a loose powder along which you can theoretically descend, although my companions said, no, they say, you have to go down the path that you came and then go along the other side of the gorge.
But, like any sane person, I, of course, did not believe them, and went my own way. And there was nothing difficult there, in about ten minutes I had already gone down the gorge.
And then, finally, the Eagle's Nests waterfall appeared, so to speak, in all its glory, however, from afar.
Closer looks more impressive, however, if you stand next to it does not fit into the frame.
